The Marauder has a tank skillset focused on generating large amounts of Enmity and keeping himself alive. A Marauder's most important stat is vitality, which increases their maximum health. Marauder's Arms or Weapons include massive Axes, Labrys, Bills, Tusks, Bhujs, Bardiches, and War Axes. Compared to the Gladiator, the Marauder's abilities are built less to reduce the damage taken and more to recover health through damage dealt. The rarity of an egg correlates with the rarity of its adult form. The hatching progress begins when the player equips the egg into their Nest under the Classes tab.

The Marauder wears the heaviest class of armor and receives abilities that generate a large amount of Enmity for keeping enemy attention focused on him. Eggs are items that eventually hatch and grow into adult dragons through a series of small missions. The class relies on recovering health through dealing damage, particularly in short bursts through the Berserk skill. The Marauder is a dedicated tank whose weapon of choice is the greataxe. A Marauder may also choose to be a Dragoon by way of leveling the Marauder class to level 15 or higher and switching to the Lancer class and leveling it to level 30. A Marauder can become a Warrior once he/she has reached levl 30 and leveled 15 as a Gladiator.
